About The Contest

The Friends of Forsythe National Wildlife Refuge is pleased to announce the “2025 Juried Photography Contest – Celebrating Forsythe National Wildlife Refuge”.  The contest is open to both adults and students, for images captured within the boundaries of the 48,000 acre refuge.  The contest is organized and administered by the Friends of Forsythe National Wildlife Refuge, a non-profit established to support the mission of the Edwin B. Forsythe National Wildlife Refuge, one of the premiere refuges in the U.S. Fish and Wildlife’s National Wildlife Refuge network.

Entry Period

The contest will be open from June 1, 2025 at 6:00 am to July 31, 2025 at 6:00 pm (U.S. Eastern Time).

Categories

• Adult Category – open to all photographers 18 years or older
• Student Category – open to students 17 years of age and under

Contest Fees

Individuals may submit a total of six (6) images. The initial registration fee for adults is $30, which allows for the submission of three (3) images.  The fee to submit additional images is $5 per image.  For students the initial registration fee is $10, with a $2 fee for each additional image.
